I had the wonderful opportunity of connecting with Connie in Maui months before she had passed away. I knew Connie all the way from Cubberley and didn't really have a huge connection in HS, but when I saw her beautiful artwork online I knew we had a connection and decided to reach out.  I looked her up thru FB and decided to just drop by....well, you don't just drop by Haiku. It took me a while to find her place, but when I did I had such a wonderful visit. I will always cherish that meeting. We talked nonstop for hours....we had so much in common, the few hours weren't even touching the tip of the iceberg. I promised we'd meet up again soon. Sadly it never happened. Her exuberance for life, her art, her beauty and passion for everything really took my breath away. She was in her early 60's going on 25. I am so grateful for that visit. Connie, you left this earth way too soon. Thank you, Curtis Randall, for that beautiful video that is posted her on her site.

Thank you Joyce for that vicarious visit with Connie.  As I watch the video, I want to reach out and hug her.  Such lovely art, still so elegant a person as I remember from Millikan.

Beautiful video! Such an elegant woman...Always gentle and thoughtful in high school. Now I look forward to seeing her art work one day and perhaps finding one of my own.

A beautiful and moving tribute to Connie. In addtion to admiring her beautiful art, I was moved by her glowing smile and her enhusiasm for those she was with.

Another beautiful soul gone too soon.
