From Alex's Obituary: Alex Robert Henry Alex Robert Henry was born to Ada "Betty" (Clark) and Robert Henry on September 10, 1951 in Long Beach, CA and died on May 29, 2009 after courageously battling stomach cancer. Raised in Long Beach, Alex graduated from Millikan in 1969. He worked for Caltrans for 18 years as a heavy equipment operator.

Alex was a great guy. Jovial, and quick to laugh.
I first met Alex at Stanford Jr. High. He was very fast for a big guy, and the best slaughter-ball player ever. He hardly ever got hit, and if you were his target you knew you were done for.
He was also a very good paddle ball player.
Rest in peace Alex.

I was saddened to see Alex's name "In Memory". He was a good friend in elementary school. Alex's family had a backyard pool, not that common in those days, and he often invited over a few friends for "Marco Polo".
