Ed and I grew up together from pre-school through high school. At Millikan I figured the parental absence signature would work just as well with his signature instead of my parents so that is what we put on file there. Whenever I needed a day off I went to Ed to sign the note. Realizing his leverage there were times when I had to do favors to get the signature. Rest in Peace my good friend.
Eddie was a dear friend of mine. We both attended Burcham Elementary School and Marshall Junior High School. During our time at Marshall Junior HIgh School. I lived on San Anseline Ave., and every morning Chuck, Eddie Humphries, Kirk McCracken, Harry and Jim (Bachman?) I don't remember their last names), would meet up at my house and we'd walk to school together. I have a picture of them from the 1965-66 school year, but I don't know how to post it here. It's in my profile pictures. Eddie had a very mischievious spirit and was a lot of fun. I lost contact and just read about his passing. I'm so very sorry. And thank you for your service. Love you, Susie
