I was saddened to see that Donna has died. We were good friends and kept in touch for many years after graduation. Then life got in the way and we lost touch. I saw her briefly at our 20 year reunion. Does anyone know how she died? Too many good people taken from us too early.
As Donna’s friends know, she suffered a terrible loss when we were in Jr Hi. She lost her Mom. She didn’t have any other relatives, so she moved in with us. Understandabley, it was a very difficult time for her. After graduation she decided it was time to move on. After a few years, we drifted apart. I was so sad when a friend of hers called and told me of her passing. I hope, before she died, Donna found the peace and happiness that she deserved. I’m not sure how she died. I’ve heard conflicting accounts. R.I.P. my friend
Thank you for sharing this, Lorie. I knew Donna pretty well throughout elementary school, and then just in passing. It is wonderful that your family was able to take care of her when she needed it, and melancholy at the way people can so easily float away.

Oh gosh I so remember our times in Jr high Lorie. So sad to hear of her passing. I drive by her home so many times and think about our times together
