From Mike's Obituary: Michael Maynard Kennedy was born on November 22, 1951 in Long Beach, CA and passed away on June 01, 2011 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. A 1969 graduate of Robert A. Millikan High School, Michael immediately entered into the service of his country as a proud member of the Army's 101st Airborne Division, (The Screaming Eagles). He requested assignment to Vietnam and willingly served two tours of duty. Upon discharge from the Army Michael worked for the City of Long Beach where he helped assure the safety of the harbor and airport.

RIP Mike...we had a great time in Serfs...The last time I saw you, you were working at the Long Beach Airport as a cop....I believe you eventually became a cop in Harbor City...until we meet again my friend....I know in my heart you and Steve Meeks are partying up there in heaven along with Phil Pence....Does anyone know if Mike's brother Pat is still around?
