From George’s Obituary:

George William Lockwood, age 66, passed away at his home in El Dorado, surrounded by his family after a long struggle with cancer, on Monday December 25th 2017.  He was born in Maryland on March 7th 1951 to Burton Graf Lockwood and Helen Marie (Auvil) Lockwood.  George spent his childhood in Maryland until his family moved to Long Beach California.  George attended California State University, Long Beach where he was an avid rower and member of the CSU Long Beach rowing team.
