From Mike's Obituary: Michael Frank Petrich October 26, 1951 - October 7, 2008 Michael passed away at his home from complications of diabetes. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. He was born in Long Beach, CA, graduated from Millikan HS and attended Long Beach City College. He moved to Santa Barbara in 1971 and was a painter by trade. Michael was an integral part of the Montecito Pet Shop for many years.
