This was a shocker. Bill was a good friend of mine in High School, a real "bitchin" guy. Very sad. RIP Bill.

I spent a lot of time with Bill and his family throughout high school and years later. I got to go water skiing and camping at lake Nacimento, snow skiing and spent hours at the family home on Knoxville. I loved his parents Chuck and Barbara as they were so inspirational to me. I always wanted to have a home where all the kids wanted to hang out. Thank you Chuck, Barbara and BILL for all you meant to me. WOW. Best wishes for all who remain behind hurting and saddened. Tim

I remember walking to school with Bill for all three years of Millikan, spent countless hours over at his house playing ping pong, he loved his music, he must have worn through  Grand Funk Railroad, then Creedence Clearwater Revival and then Led Zepplin records. I would sneak in some Hendrix and Clapton but he loved those three bands. I remember helping his dad Chuck renovate apts on Banner circle drive, he was a fireman who had a sideline real estate investment with a family friend who was a principal, they had a pretty large portfolio by the time they were done. Bonnie, his sister was the original giggler, she was always happy, some of you ANU girls probably remember her. I lost track of Bill probably in the early 80's, last time I saw him, he and Mike Holleran were hanging out over at Bill's place near 10th and Orizaba.

One of my best friends, spent a large chunk of our lives together.

RIP Bill

I went thru elementary school and high school with Bill. I used to see Bill when he worked at Palm Tree Liquor. He always had a kind word or a good memory to share. I think that Bill brought his dad to our 2nd grade class to teach us what it is like to be a fireman. I hope my memory is correct but in any case Bill was close to his parents and little sister.
