This one hits close to home. Steve & I were surfing buddies back in the day. He'd heard about Beacon's in Leucadia and we'd drive down nights, crash in the car so we could get up early and beat the crowd out to the break. Thanks Steve! Those trips to sleepy Leucadia led me to enroll at UCSD - heck, I even had a key to the road down to Black's for awhile. Owe it all to you buddy. Catch'ya on the outside someday. Aloha!
Steve was a friend in high school. I had the pleasure of speaking with him at a previous reunion when he told me that he had a good life and was really happy.

Sorry to hear you've left us, Steve. Through tough times you persevered and still smiled. Wishing the best to your kids and all.

Steve was one of the few people that managed to overcome the many bullies at Stanford junior high school.

Steve was a friend in and after high school. Just a nice, straight ahead friend. Also, one of the most courageous people I have known.
