Taylor Riess

1972

Pam Ozurko class of 67 writes that her brother " Taylor" died shortly before his 21st bday in a car accident, on his way to his parents for a Father’s Day celebration. He was in the Marine reserves. She was very pleased he will be remembered. She spoke of how his loss profoundly affected the lives of his family...mom died soon after of a broken heart.

If you have any details, memories or photos of Taylor,

Taylor and I grew up together (with our sisters Diane and Pam) and he was both like a big brother and best friend. I miss him everyday.

I remember Taylor; always so polite with a kind smile.  He walked like a Marine, even in HS.  A life too short.

I attended Progress private school in the  9th grade with Taylor and I can say he was a real cool guy and absolutely real fun to be around. That school took us to disneyland annually and Taylor,Bruce Morgan, one of Taylors friends and myself and perhaps others had a blast just being kids. I only have good memories of him. I also remember meeting Taylors sister and his mother at their home on Bostonian ave in Rossmore that same year 1965-66. My hat comes off for that Marine!  ( A real American.)

Our first trip to Las Vegas in 1971. What a great guy Taylor was!
