Extending our heartfelt condolences to you and the family, Debbie. Your loss is a loss for us all, and a poignant reminder of how little time each of us has on this planet in the wider scheme of things, and how important it is to let those close to us know we love them today. There's no guarantee we, or they, will be here tomorrow. Best, J~
Hi Deb, so sorry to hear about Lenny. I met Lenny in a graphic arts class. At first, I thought he was "hard" guy, so I played the "hard" guy also. We'd nod to each other, say a few words, then move on. Then, we started to take some time, have longer conversations, and got to know each other a lot better. Lenny had a sly, and dry, sense of humor. He'd say something, and give me a little smile, and I'd crack up every time. Our thoughts, and prayers, are with you, and your family, Deb. Much love, and affection, Randy
As I shared with you over the last couple of weeks, it saddens my heart to see you lose your best friend, love of your life, and father and grandfather of your children. I met Lenny at our 30th reunion and was thankful for his help at the 50th golf outing. We had a great visit at the San Diego Safari Park and learned a lot about his sense of humor and commitment to you and his family. He shared a bit of his suffering then as we sat and talked. I pray that you and your entire family are able to celebrate his life with strength and laughter as you honor Lenny's life. I am thankful that Judy and I got to meet him before the pandemic shut everything down. How fortunate I was to be able to celebrate the reunion and work together with you and Lenny. You have a big heart dear friend. That will continue to bless those around you.
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I can only imagine the heartache you are feeling and hope you can find some comfort in all of the wonderful things about Lenny. You are in my prayers.
Dearest Debbie, Sorry for the loss of Lenny..May his memory bring you peace, comfort and blessings and May G/d hold you in his arms tighter in these very sad days aheadπ₯° My love, Lynette
I am so sorry for your loss Debbie. You and Lenny are one of the lucky few who were able to stick together through the good times and the bad. You two obviously had a fabulous friendship and immense love for each other. A beautiful combination to have in a relationship. You were blessed.
Debbie, I did not know Lenny, but you sure brought him alive for me, both him and your life together. Jewish tradition is that at a time like this for you to be consoled with, "May his memory be a blessing." I have no doubt whatsoever that's exactly what his will be for you. May knowing that comfort you at this wrenching, difficult time. Your old neighbor around the block from Belice on Los Arcos. David

While I did not know Lenny, I had a friend who went to St. Cornelius with him.
She said he had a righteous sense of humor that the nuns punished.
Sounds like the basis for a beautiful union. Quirky humor is important. Love never dies.
