Oh Chris...from Emerson Elementary to Stanford JH to Millikan, so many years; childhood and teen. Great memories of our friendship, big guy. RIP.

So sorry.  Chris's family and mine were good friends for many years.  My mom got his mom to sign him up for dance class so i could get in.  they didn't have enough boys.  A very sweet guy.

Sorry to here of Chris's passing. Knew Chris at both Stanford and Millikan. Very nice guy. Found an obituary for Chris that said he lived in Mammoth Lakes and passed on Nov. 12, 2012.  RIP friend...

Chris built and owned the Rossmoor Athletic Club. After the Long Beach Athletic Club closed down we talked to Chris about bringing 40 handball players to his mostly racquetball club in Los Alamitos shopping center. He later sold the club. I liked him. Terrific athlete.

Chris was my friend. How did he die? He seemed so healthy. I'm so sad.

His wife said he had been ill for awhile, and his lungs filled with fluid.

They have a 19-year-old daughter together.

Thanks, Norena.  That usually means the heart is failing which usually results from a heart attack.  Too young.

I never knew Chris, but I have a vivid memory of his sister, Scotty. She was a sophemore when I was at Millikan, I believe - or a junior? Whatever, I always enjoyed talking to her. I thought she was a radiant person, full of life and promise. If someone of you is in touch with her, do give her my condoleances. Losing is sibling must be tough (I'm most grateful my sister is still alive and kicking).

Chris lived pretty close to me, and I used to see him all the time when I rode my bike around.

I don't think he ever lived down losing a doubles paddle-ball tournament in Jr. High, to my partner and I.

RIP Chris.
