From Joanne's Obituary:
 Joanne Grace Johnson passed from this earthly life to continue on her eternal path on Friday, June 6, 2014. Joanne was born in Long Beach, California on January 8, 1951. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and her Master's in Social Work from University of Utah. As a licensed clinical social worker in private practice, Joanne had the opportunity to inspire and counsel many, to witness miracles, and to bring many to Christ through her teaching, example and love.

Joanne, you were a lot of fun! I remember you always having a lively personality and looking on the bright side with a ready laugh. I'm sorry you've left us too soon.

Joanne lived around the corner from me in elementary and Junior High school. She was one of my favorite friends. We were in Band together for a few years as well as Brownies and Girl Scouts. She was so much fun to be with! I am so sorry to hear about her passing. Joanne was a real solid girl; kind, fun, and authentic.
I remember her Birthday was the same day as Elvis, probably because she was a Rock Star!!
