From Chuck's Obituary: Mr. Charles Robert Welsh, age 61, of Hemet, passed away in his home on Monday, May 7, 2012. Charles served in the US Armed Forces as a Marine during the Vietnam War and was a wounded Veteran. He was a very knd and generous man to all who knew him. Charles is survived by his parents, George and Arlene, his best friend AJ Petersen, his beloved cat, Troubles, and his 6lb dog, Nemo.

I remember Chuck from Burcham elementary school and he was quiet and very kind and likeable. RIP "Chuckie".

Chuck was a dear friend of mine during our time at Marshall Junior HIgh School. I lived on San Anseline Ave., and every morning Chuck and Eddie Humphries, Kirk McCracken, Harry and Jim I don't remember their last names), would meet up at my house and we'd walk to school together. I have a picture of them from the 1965-66 school year, but I don't know how to post it here. It's in my profile pictures. Chuck was a very gentle soul. I lost contact and just read about his passing.
