Loving Life! (mostly) 😜

I started Millikan my Jr Yr. My home was in a strange spot for not sticking with the normal stay with your classmates from K to 12 system. 😞 I went from Mark Twain Elementary to John Marshall Jr High (most of my classmates went to Bancroft JH) then, my district HS was Lakewood. 😱 Mom told me if I tried Lakewood for 1 year, and I still wanted to go to Millikan she would make it happen, so that is what I did. I had a great year at Lakewood (They went to the final game for the CIF championship) Unforgettable memories, great friends, but my heart was with my friends at Millikan.I think it all worked out for the best but entering a HS Jr Yr was a little difficult, even with all of the friends I already had there. There are a lot of things and people you get hooked into your first year. I am also a little sorry I didn’t get to have the experience of knowing your friends from K to 12.
