1969 Worked for Bekins in Accounts Payable
Went to Long Beach City College taking math and accounting classes.
Worked for a company, Standun (inventors & mfg of the 1 piece aluminum can) in the Payroll department.
Got married in 1974, moved to Oregon in 1977, left in 1979, divorced in 1982.
Worked for a couple of different companies all accounting related until 1983.
Returned to Bekins to become the Accountant/Controller until a company, Pasha, purchased it in 1986. I worked for Pasha as the Administrative Manager until 2000, when I retired. Got remarried in 1992. My husband worked for Boeing until 2000, when he retired. Moved to Oregon in 2001 until 2016. Became snowbirds, then full-timers, in our RV.
In November, 2017, I fell, fractured my right shin and ankle, had surgeries & was in rehab facilities until December, 2018 and am in a wheelchair. In January, 2018, we bought a house in Yuma, Arizona and live here today. We love it and welcome anyone who wishes, to come and stay awhile.
